Opal Creek Hike

Our first hike with our new camera!

This is a panorama of one of the lower water pools on
the hike. The water is the clearest we both had ever seen.
Max even went for a swim and played fetch with a stick.

This shot is of a creek that actually flows through
a tree.

The hike was longer than these signs lead one to believe.

This was on old mining car. The mine closed in the 1980's
but there are still tons of relics along the hike. Some still
work, a little. In fact when Summer stood up from this
car it started to tip to the left as if dumping a load of coal.
Just beyond the car is a 100 foot cliff, lucky Summer
has cat like reflexes, Arwen too.

There are several bridges along the trail with
great views of the clear water below.
